A Message from your MEIFHA Executive

2020-08-17

On behalf of the MEIFHA Board,

As we prepare to open our registration this week, many of you may be wondering what the upcoming 2020 - 2021 Metro East Inferno hockey season will look like? While we may not know everything yet, we do know that we are able to get back on the ice in September for development sessions, and that we intend to begin evaluations, and subsequent team selections beginning October 1st.

As the circumstances continue to evolve, we want Inferno families to know that we are and will be following the Hockey Nova Scotia Rebound Plan to the letter, and that the goal is to get our girls back to playing the game they love this hockey season. We may not get to a normal state in the usual timeframe of a traditional hockey season, but we all have to realize that this will be a unique hockey season.

We want to assure MEIFHA players, parents and families that there are numerous potential plans to be put in place, depending on the circumstances, that lead back to the return of full play. We will keep our members updated every step of the way and do everything in our power to create a positive hockey environment and experience for all of the Inferno players.

We look forward to the season and the collective efforts of all of our Inferno families to make these unusual times less stressful to our players,

Sincerely,

Chris
