MEIFHA Presents Development 2020 - 2021

Now that evaluations are complete and balancing is done we would like to welcome you and your teams to the Metro East Inferno Female Hockey Association 2020-2021 season. We would also like to thank you all for stepping up to volunteer to help out within our association this season… It is greatly appreciated!
As you know this season isn’t going to look like any other, but Metro East Inferno is extremely excited to have formed a working relationship with the Dalhousie Tigers Women’s and Men’s hockey programs. Our association has secured three hours of ice a week that we can dedicate strictly to on-ice player / coach development.
Below is the season development schedule. Please review.
- Each session will be a shared ice time with another team.
- Dalhousie Tigers will be responsible to plan / organize the practice plan. They will have one lead instructor and two assistants on the ice. (Similar to September development sessions)
- Your team will treat these sessions as regular practices and attendance is expected by players and coaches.
- Each team will have their coaching staff on ice to help the Dal coaches run the practice. To a max of 50 due to Covid guidelines.
- Teams will be responsible to Covid screen / track and secure dressing room chaperons for each of their sessions.
